There was plenty of fast swimming on display at
the Circle City
Classic, and BBSC was right in the thick of it. Leading the
charge was Joe Ancel,
who picked up his first career Age Group State cuts in the
1,000 and 1,650 Freestyle and participated in finals in the 200
Breaststroke. Also qualifying for Age Group State was the 11-12
boys quartet of Kyle Baney,
Zach Messaglia, Joe Myhre and Vince Partlow, who met the
standards in the 200 Freestyle and Medley Relays. Brent Scaife picked up new Age Group State cuts in
the 50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke, both of which earned him a
spot in the finals. Diego
LaTorre participated in the finals in the 50 Freestyle and 200
Backstroke, Madison
Jones swam finals in the 100 and 200 Butterfly, and Elizabeth Wishart finaled in
five events (100 & 200 Backstroke, 100 & 200 Breaststroke,
200 I.M.). Also congratulations to Chloe Wittig, Isabelle Mitchell, Joe
and Will Myhre, Piper Lovett, Brianna LaPaugh, Meghan Grabner,
Madison Kehr, Olivia Beard, Sammi Wassen, Grace Fulwider, Avery
Chadd,Olivia Jones, Annabelle Ketchem, Connor and Taylor Schepers,
Sydney Elliott, Frank Schoemer, Elise Ritchotte, Klaudia Cox,
Clarice Cross, Bailey LaPaugh, Shelby Smith, Kaylle Propst, William
Lukens, Evann Chadd, Claire Flick, Brett Lucas, Josephine
Bonczynski, Krista Keller, Haley Tate for achieving 90-100 %
best times. This was a great showing of Brownsburg Swim
Club swimmers at this extremely fast meet. Way to go BBSC
swimmers!
