What is Brownsburg Swim Club?
Brownsburg Swim Club is a USA Swimming and US Masters Swimming sanctioned swim club that provides training and competitive opportunities for swimmers of all abilities. Brownsburg Swim Club promotes individual athletic development, sportsmanship, and friendship.

What level of swimmers participate?
Brownsburg Swim Club uses a multi-level approach to develop swimmers.  Our National and Age Group swimmers range in age from four years old through college age.  Our Masters team is for adults 19 and over. Abilities range from beginning competitive swimmers to collegiate level competitors. Any swimmer who can swim the length of the pool is welcome!

Where does Brownsburg Swim Club practice?
During the school year, evening practices are held at Brownsburg High School.

How often do Brownsburg Swim Club swimmers practice?
The coaches will suggest how many days a week a swimmer should swim, and, in the summer, how many times a day.  However, swimmers are welcome 6 days a week if they choose.  The individual families decide both the practice days and pool sites that fit best into their own schedules.

Brownsburg Swim Club takes a 2 week break around spring break and 3 week break in August.

What meet competition is available?
Based on recommendations from the coaches, meets are selected for each season. Brownsburg Swim Club schedules approximately two meets per month.  Most meets are at locations within a one-hour drive of Indianapolis. Individual families determine how many meets they wish to attend. 

Brownsburg Swim Club hosts 2 - 3 meets per year.  Brownsburg Swim Club swimmers are encouraged to enter these meets. All families are required to work as volunteers at the meets hosted by Brownsburg Swim Club.

How much does Brownsburg Swim Club cost?
Monthly training fees range from $60 - $80 per month depending on the ability of the swimmer. There is an annual corporation fee of $75 per family ($37.50 for only the summer session).  Each swimmer must also be registered with USA Swimming ($52/year).

Meet fees are set by the hosting club subject to Indiana Swimming guidelines.  Typical costs are $2.00 - $5.00 per event and a $1 per swimmer surcharge (higher level meets will have a bigger surcharge generally about $5 per swimmer).
